week 3: PREAAAAACCHHH

Hiya! Honestly this week is a blur so...

We found out we're checking out at 4:30am on wednesday and flying to Ohio! Um i don't wanna leave the mtc cause im having way too much fun! pray for me lol I MISS YOU ALL! feel free to email me at any point in time, i would greatly appreciate it.

Tuesday
We went to the Mt. Timpanogos temple and did endowments. Jazzy B left the mtc so i had to say goodbye :( but she left me the cutest little note. She hid it in one of the buildings and then sent me a clue to go find it. It was adorable! Because of the temple and devotional we didn't have any classes on tuesday so that was nice. At the devotional Michael T. Ringwood from the Seventy came. He and his wife both talked and talked about becoming who God wants us to become. He mentioned "The Ohio" a few times so that was special. He kept saying "give first class devotion to first class causes." Another quote i liked was "Every hour, every day, every step, all the way"
Also all us sisters got matching bracelets at the mtc store. so cutie

Wednesday
It was Elder Gardner's birthday! We gave him a card and treats and his mom sent him donuts so we had a little party that night.
Also! Our class got cut short because the new missionaries came in! We got to help them with all their luggage and take them to their rooms and it was SO much fun! That took up most of the day so i don't remember what else we did to be honest. I told all my sisters to look out for Sister Horn, one of my old coworkers, who was coming in. Sister Summers ended up being the one to help her so that was super exciting.

Thursday
so if you read my email last week I talked about Elder Schneider stealing my watch. Well my parents read that and decided to surprise me and send me a watch for me to give him! I was sooo excited to give it to him and make his whole day. I love my parents and how thoughtful and selfless they are! (i put a video in my google photos.. the link at the top)
During second hour of our evening class the teacher had a meeting so she put sister summers and I in charge. I think that's when we all realized we're leaving the mtc so soon. third hour we were all crying so that's fun. I <3 district 22B

Friday
We got our flight information on friday and also went to the temple for sealings! We did sealings as children to their parents. Some of the family names we brought were sisters so it was really cool to get to seal them together at the same time! On the bus to the temple Elder Baggaley got me talking about the Bundy reunion so I definitely talked his ear off. rookie mistake. We also made up a song.. it was actually mostly Elder Baggaley and Sister Baumgardner. (there's a video coming soon to my photos album) At the end of class that night we sang the efy medley and the spirit was so strong!

Saturday
OUR LAST CLASS AS A WHOLE DISTRICT WITH SISTER HAMILTON! literally crying. Half of our district leaves Tuesday and the other half leaves on wednesday so we're kinda depressed. She wrote us each cute little notes with a picture from our first class attached to it. Sister Hamilton is the best.

Sunday
We had relief society and sacrament meeting, our Go and Do experience and then the departure devotional and a discipleship devotional. I cried some more. At the end of the departure devotional we all sang "We'll Bring the World His Truth" and I was literally crying so hard I couldn't sing. The spirit was strong. I can't believe we're leaving this week..

Spiritual thought
There's a difference between testimony and conversion. Knowing the gospel is true is the essence of a testimony. Consistently being true to the gospel is the essence of conversion. A testimony is knowing, while conversion is acting on that knowledge.
Conversion is a choice! Make that choice today to deepen your conversion and live the principles of the gospel.

Now pictures!
