week 10: my first baptism!
hey y'all it's been a long week! I learned that once you get comfortable around here they switch things up on you.. but we're thriving. also keep it up on the emails I love hearing from you guys!

Monday
we went to mesopotamia for fry pies and then to the Cleveland sign in Euclid with sister Ludlow and sister Woolston!
Tuesday
we painted ornaments with sister bottorff again and then got the news about transfers... Sister Jordan moved to cleveland! I lowkey had a whole crisis moment when we found this out and she started packing her stuff up.
Wednesday
we stopped by all our favorite members and got pictures and sister Jordan said bye to them.. sad day really, I'm just glad I stayed cause I love Chardon
we also did some volunteer work at this food pantry in kirtland so that was cool
Thursday
Transfers! we drove all the way to Columbus to meet up with our new companions and meet some of the new missionaries! we had 23 new missionaries come in and 4 of them are in my zone! I also got my TIWI card which means I can drive! sister Wirth and I had a 2 and a half hour drive to get to know each other.
that night our friend Nicole called us and when I told her sister Jordan moved she was not very happy and lowkey I thought she blocked us for a second but she didn't so we're chillin
Sister Wirth was in my zone last transfer so I've already met her which is honestly such a relief. She's on her 4th transfer and this will be my 2nd so we're both pretty new to missionary life
Friday
Sister Wirth's first full day in Chardon so we visited some members and our friend Matilyn and even went on a walk with Nicole. we had dinner with lil debi, her friend Sara, and the Hartmans which was exciting as always.
Saturday
we had a service project in kirtland first thing in the morning! it lasted about 5 hours. before we left there was a weird looking long legged centipede (or maybe millipede) in our kitchen sink... neither of us had the guts to kill it so we trapped it and left it there so we could deal with it later. it's still there currently.
anyways, the service project was so fun! we met up with a bunch of people in kirtland and went around raking leaves in people's yards. I got to know one of the new missionaries which was so much fun! we're hoping we become companions later in our missions when we both know what we're doing
Sunday
matilyn came to church and then we rode with her and sister Wheatley to a baptism in Warren! if anyone remembers in some earlier emails I talked about Carl and Gabriella. Well they moved out of our area and the Warren sisters have been teaching them and they both got baptized Sunday! I'm so glad I got to go and be part of it! it was fun to see them again. they needed a time filler while they were changing so they last minute asked us sisters to sing. there were 5 of us singing and sister Estock played the piano. after that we had a really good lesson with Nicole and had dinner at the Juker's. their daughter in law Brendy told us she'd teach us how to crochet so I'm looking forward to that!
also president juker said I'd be a marvel character and not a DC character.. whatever that means
spiritual thought: go listen to the song thy will be done by Hillary Scott. that's the only thing going through my head right now...
