week 12: it snowed. I'm out.

happy monday everyone! it's been another crazy week. there's never a dull moment here in The Great Ohio Columbus Mission

Monday
we went to the mall in Shaker Heights with our stl's, Sister Heieie and Sister Morgan! we tried on some cutie tiaras and then got matching necklaces (there was a really nice deal cause we're #cheap) then we went to the Flamm's for dinner and I just love them! we went around saying our favorite hobbies and each of her kids is like a prodigy in whatever they do. the 10 year old loves to cook and he's the one who made us dinner. they're all great at what they like to do! 

Tuesday
we went to the Burton library to check out the art contest that some of the Flamm kids entered into. Sam is 8 years old but he's a really good artist! 

Wednesday
it was a beautiful day until it wasn't and then it just poured the rest of the day. we helped the youth make decorations for the Christmas party coming up #feliznavidad 

Thursday
it SNOWED all day! the Juker's daughter in law, Brendy, taught us how to crochet! she invited us over and that's HUGE! she's a sweetheart I love her! she made us cookies and got us all the supplies for crocheting. we also had dinner at the Klis's and the Drapers were there too! (the Drapers are sister Klis's parents) they said every year for the first snow of the season they make donuts but life was crazy so they just bought them and it was super fun to participate in their family tradition

Friday
I'm out. we had zone conference! we started with a Thanksgiving dinner and then got into the conference part. at the very end an NBA player from Cleveland gave us a devotional! Sam Merrill, he's from Utah and served his mission in Nicaragua and now he's in Cleveland playing pro basketball so that's cool. afterwards President Brockbank asked to talk to sister Wirth and I. yeah we were freaking out a little. after forever and a half of waiting for him to finish other meetings we noticed that he was talking to only sisters and found out theres an emergency transfer happening... turns out someone's going home early for health reasons and so a few changes were made. they told me I had to move 😭 

Saturday
we packed a ton. then we went to a baptism in solon, sister Wirth's old area. we got to be witnesses which is new for me lol we only had to watch the ordinance happen 3 times. after 2 i think he figured out how to keep his feet on the ground 😂 then we had to go to the solon apartment to get the extra mattress cause.. yeah. then we went to help sister bottorff decorate her Christmas tree and that brought me so much joy

Sunday
we packed some more, went to church, packed everything and drove to Akron to meet up with our new companion! 🥳 we're in a trio now! we went to Shaker Heights and moved into our new apartment! sister Wirth is now stl with sister Heieie and I'm just here since I'm still training 😂
we're double covering Shaker Heights and Chardon! what is my life?

week 37: new car, who dis? 🚙

  hey fam, I know I know, the title of my email doesn't make sense cause we JUST got a new car like 3 weeks ago... surprise! we got a new car again! it's been a good week :)  can I ask a favor? can y'all pray for my friends?
