week 17: holyyy smokesss sisterrrr

 good morning everyone! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BRIALLEN! everyone go wish my sister a happy birthday! she's 17 now 🤯 

it'll be a shorter email cause it's only been a few days since last p day oop


I heard this scripture, 
John 1:5 
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not
and D&C 34:2 
2 The light and the life of the world, a light which shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not

light is one of my favorite things as some of you know. but it's also one of my favorite titles for Jesus Christ! I love when it says "the darkness comprehended it not" because if you think about it, you can go into a dark room and plug in a little nightlight and then you'll be able to see the whole room! darkness can't overcome the light! the darkness comprehendeth it not. Just like Jesus Christ is the Light of the World! He always overcomes darkness and He can help you through the dark times in your life! Just look for that light :) 

WEDNESDAY 
Merry Christmas! I can't believe it's over already?! we played phase 10 with the Wheatley's and took pictures with Christmas lights!

THURSDAY
I got my very first "check your speed" and lemme just say TIWI is brutal. ifykyk 
we went to stop by someone in a sketchy area and it was dark.. when they didn't answer we decided to knock some houses around it. we got to one house where 3 different people came to the door. the first guy turned us down and then a girl came over and we started talking to her and then her mom interrupted and said "we don't believe in none of that Jesus Christ stuff" and the daughter said "Wait but I want to hear a scripture or something!" So her mom left and we shared a scripture and gave her a Book of Mormon! she said we were brave for being in that area... so then I ran to the car 😂 jk. but no seriously Cleveland is interesting. 

FRIDAY
so literally Friday must've been so lame cause I don't remember anything.

SATURDAY
we were supposed to have a church tour with a referral but homie never showed up... we even called and he said he was on his way. he was not in fact on his way. we packed a lunch cause we knew we'd be in Chardon so we decided to have a picnic by the little lake! it was partly frozen which was crazy! 
that night we got a referral and immediately decided to drop everything and stop by.. imagine you make a request online and then 10 minutes later missionaries show up at your door... that's exactly what happened for Dalanti. he was super nice and let us in and we had a little lesson with him and his wife! they're coming to church next week! 

SUNDAY
we found out Shaker ward is gonna start meeting at 9am with the new year! which means we get to stay both hours at Chardon now! I missed going to classes with the youth ahaha 

also! it's almost 2025?! you know what that means for all of us '05 babies... 20 is wild. Happy New Year everyone! listen to New Years Day for me :( that's my Taylor Swift song cause I'm a new years baby.

  hey fam, I know I know, the title of my email doesn't make sense cause we JUST got a new car like 3 weeks ago... surprise! we got a new car again! it's been a good week :)  can I ask a favor? can y'all pray for my friends?   oh hey! it's been another week!
