week 21: I'm forrest frank's biggest fan

hey guys! if you don't know who forrest frank is, he's a missionary's best friend cause he writes fun music that we're allowed to listen to. this past week I really appreciated him cause he puts me in a better mood. God is Good, Good Day, and Altar are just a few favorites. check him out :) or don't.

spiritual thought: I've been thinking a lot about Christlike attributes lately. isn't that why we're here on earth? to become more like Christ? so I challenge you all this week to pick a Christlike attribute you wanna focus on. you can apply it more fully in your life, study it, read scriptures about it, listen to talks about it... let me know how that goes :) this week I want to focus on diligence! I'll keep y'all updated

now onto my week

MONDAY
we ended up at this thrift store the elders were raving about and it was not at all what we expected. never in a million years would I wear anything that was in that store. that's all I have to say about that
the Sinaga's had all 3 shaker companionships for dinner and they're just amazing! Brother Sinaga is a chef and they feed us restaurant style! they're the best.

TUESDAY
had kind of a meh day.. some lessons fell through and we had a lot of wrong addresses for our stop bys. we had a lesson with Kia and Brittany. it was 1⁰ outside but it felt like -12⁰ according to the weather app which is just lovely 😁🥶

WEDNESDAY
we had our last district council of the transfer and talked about Christlike attributes! i was assigned knowledge to study and share about!
afterwards we went to Sheetz and Brendy was working! it was her birthday so we were super excited that we got to see her and wish her a happy birthday! we had dinner at the Wheatley's and they showed us this movie about missionaries called Escape From Germany. it was really cool!

THURSDAY
it was my baby brother's birthday! happy birthday Brigham! he's 7 now which is not even okay.
we visited Mikey which is always wonderful! he's a sweetheart! we had a lesson with Kia and Brittany and Miasia decided to join us! we went over the plan of salvation again and they had some good questions

FRIDAY
I was in a meh mood for whatever reason so that's when Forrest Frank came in clutch and told me "I'm bout to have a good day!" and we just blasted his music all day long. then we went to what we call "the cartwheel park" and swung on the swings for 2 minutes and that boosted my mood. I said "I just took a break.. (okayyyy) and now it's back to WORK" so in case anyone's having a bad day.. listen to Forrest Frank and swing on the swings and you'll be happy in no time. we went knocking and found a really cool girl after that!

SATURDAY
we met Amagio finally! he said he'd see us at church on Sunday. and since we were in middlefield we just had to get Amish soft pretzels! we had a lesson with Cynthia and Christina and they're both so cool! they're so excited that we've been coming over that we didn't have the heart to tell them about transfers. cynthia said "you two ain't going nowhere" news flash bestie.. it's not our choice

SUNDAY
none of our friends came to church.. again.. BUT we had a lil switcheroo moment because sis Christensen was sick and her companion sister Peterson had to play the piano at a baptism! so I got to hangout at the Morley Farm while sister wirth took sister Peterson to the baptism! we had possibly our last sunday dinner with the Juker's... I've had Sunday dinner with the Juker's every week since I've been here... I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with myself if I get transfered 😂 I'm gonna miss them
