week 23: call me hermana hare 💃🏽

spiritual thought:
Doctrine and Covenants 8:2-3
 2 Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.
 3 Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation; behold, this is the spirit by which Moses brought the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground.

I'm so grateful for personal revelation and for the Holy Ghost that's there as a comfort and guidance in my life! I've seen so many times throughout my mission when the spirit has guided me and protected me. I also just love the peaceful and joyful feelings that come when I feel the spirit! pay attention to those feelings this week! 

MONDAY
we went shopping and then went shopping... we had a really cool referral named Lexi ask for a Book of Mormon so we gave her one and taught her all about it! dinner at the Butler's! they have two precious little boys who are so excited to have sisters back in the ward 😂 

TUESDAY
we had a block in our schedule left from the elders called "Bible study with Ryan" so we had to figure out what that meant.. turns out he'd just come down and study with them since he lives upstairs... since we're sisters obviously that's not allowed so we met up at a restaurant for taco tuesday and studied a chapter from John. it was fun and we had some good conversations!

WEDNESDAY 
we tried to do a bunch of stop bys in downtown Cleveland but couldn't find parking.. other apartments were locked and the doors we did get to didn't answer.. we had book of mormon class with recent convert Tim. found out he's a huge Britney Spears fan. he also said he hopes the Eagles with the Super Bowl cause he doesn't want Taylor Swift to smile. I told him she's always been an Eagles fan so she'll smile either way 😂
we also had to switch for training visits with the STL's but Hermana Pineda doesn't drive and for some reason my TIWI card was gone so we had a lil last minute change of plans. 

THURSDAY 
training visits! I was supposed to go with Hermana Pineda but ended up with Hermana Larson! and I got to be Hermana Hare for the day! since I don't know spanish I just sat and listened to most lessons we had. I could pick up little words and phrases here and there like "como esta" and "jesucristo" and a few times I could tell they were talking about me but had no idea what they were saying 😂 they were all way nice though! much different than english work. since the Hermanas cover our area too we ended up finding a 16 year old boy who speaks english and wants to come to church and learn more! it was awesome!

FRIDAY
not much happened really. a lot of things fell through and stop bys didn't answer. we had a good lesson with our friend Kenny! it was good until he asked about help with rent... bestie I don't even pay my own rent.. 
for comp study we went to a park and sat on top of the jungle gym! 

SATURDAY 
we did lots of church calls, then decided to drive by the temple under construction! it's like 10 minutes away from where I live!
had a not very good lesson with Lexi. that was sad. did a billion stop bys and nobody answered. met up with the Shaker/Chardon sisters at our border to get my TIWI cause I realized I left it in their car oop.
yep that means sister wirth and her lil trainee sister young! i missed her bad! it was great to see her again :))

SUNDAY
Sister Fluckiger picked out a whole outfit for me to wear from her closet so I didn't have to think about anything! church was good! during the closing prayer in Sacrament Meeting I remembered that we had been asked to teach young women's that day. we got asked over a week ago so it definitely slipped our minds until that moment. we were NOT prepared. but we pretended like we knew what we were doing and it all worked out! we had a really good lesson about personal revelation and feeling the spirit! 
we did stop bys and a few of our stop bys actually answered! we got some return appointments and then had dinner at the Holt's! it was a good day

  hey fam, I know I know, the title of my email doesn't make sense cause we JUST got a new car like 3 weeks ago... surprise! we got a new car again! it's been a good week :)  can I ask a favor? can y'all pray for my friends?   oh hey! it's been another week!
