week 27: *insert really clever and funny email title that makes everyone laugh*

it's been another good week! how's everyone back home? how's my missionary friends? email me! I'd love to hear from you :) this might be a longer email so bear with me..

spiritual thought: we've been talking more about faith and about how powerful it is! but we also were talking about having the faith to accept God's will. you can have faith that things will happen but its still according to God's will and timing!
go listen to this song that I love - Thy Will Be Done by Hillary Scott

MONDAY
we played volleyball with our district (minus the Russian elders, plus the ZL's) and I am really bad at sports! I was on one team and we lost so they switched me to the other team and we lost so I guess I'm the problem. BUT then we played again, same teams and my team won the next two rounds! I just needed a lil warm up, sooo much fun!
Sister Fluckiger and I decided it was time to go find a Cleveland sign so that's exactly what we did! we had dinner with Sister Mersits and she's just a character! I adore her!

TUESDAY
it was 63 degrees outside! the warmest day we've had in awhile so of course we had to go on a walk during comp study! we had bible study with Ryan and since it was so nice outside we decided to sit on the porch, we played rummikub and then read our bible chapter and then somehow got to the topic of soda. some of y'all know I used to work at pop… so we made him a dirty soda cause he's never had one before! he thought it was yummy and then started talking about coffee and his struggles with the word of wisdom. we had a very long, deep conversation about it and eventually he agreed to quit again! (as long as i make him dirty sodas whenever he asks 😂)

WEDNESDAY
district council! the last one of the transfer?! the elders apparently made their own pbz (picture by zone, its how we find out transfer news) and they said im going to Massillon so I guess we'll see
we had dinner at the johnsons and talked about which fictional character we'd like to meet and have dinner with… I said mushu 😂 who would y'all choose?
book of mormon class was great! there were more people there than usual! our friend melissa told us she was there (10 minutes early) and we were running late so we let her know but when we got there she was gone! we felt so bad and thought she blocked us :(

THURSDAY
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAD! aka the best dad in the world. it snowed. we decided to stop by a bunch of grey dots (people who were being taught at one point but were given back to God for one reason or another) we found a few new people from that because the person we were looking for didn't live there anymore. the first one we found was Dyanthea! she let us in and we talked to her about faith and repentance and the Book of Mormon and she asked some good questions and asked us to come back! she's so cool! another one we found was Larry! he said he doesn't like church because of things that happened in the past so we told him about the Book of Mormon and he already had one! he said he'd read it and we could come back! we also talked to Kenyatta and Curtis's sister (we don't know her name, it's a long story)

FRIDAY
we FINALLY had a lesson with Alisha! we taught her THE WAY and she said she wants happiness and eternal life so we invited her to be baptized! she's preparing to be baptized on April 12th! then sister Galvan asked us to help her cause shes redoing the floor in her house! we went over and a couple of the elders were ripping her tile out and our job was to clean it up! it was fun! after the tile was all out we were working on getting the glue off the cement. the swahili elders left but the Russian elders showed up and helped for a while
we had dinner at the Hernandez's and their baby is the cutest baby I've ever seen! his name is Jude and he's been alive for the same amount of time that I've been a missionary!

SATURDAY
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY COUSIN ALICE 🥳 gotta love her! :)) Saturday was rough lol BUT we went and did service for the Galvan's again and then later in the day realized we accidently left our church/house keys at the church! we went on a wild goose chase and after talking to the people cleaning, the stls, the russian elders, a few members from the strongsville ward, (they fed us.. such nice people) and then called a member of their bishopric AND a member of OUR bishopric, we finally found our keys! then the Russian elders told us they went to the Galvans and ripped up the cement boards that we had been taking glue off of so..

SUNDAY
church was good! we went to young women's and talked about the atonement of Jesus Christ! then we stayed for the spanish branch because sister Fluckiger was playing the piano for them, I sat up by the piano with her and had google translate going the entire time so I could understand what was going on. after church we went and stopped by Melissa! she still hadn't answered any of our texts or calls so we decided to just show up and she was home! she let us in and we read 3 Nephi 11 with her and talked about baptism! we invited her to be baptized and she's also preparing for April 12th! it was a good day!

overall pretty slayer week! I love and miss you all and would love to hear about your week!
