week 28: I DON'T EVEN LIKE PINK ๐Ÿ’—๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿงผ

good morning everyone! happy St. Patrick's Day! ๐Ÿ€ it's been another great week here in Ohio

MONDAY
we went to goodwill, had a short little district activity. we decided to print some pictures off to put on our walls. we had dinner with Bishop Johnson and his family! he has 8 kids and invited 4 companionships of missionaries so we basically had a party at the church! it was MAR. 10th so therefore it was Mario day. we had a Mario themed dinner

TUESDAY
it was a really good day! the sun was shining and I was bouncing off the walls and laughing all day long! I was in a very good mood :)
we somehow ended up at five below during our lunch hour. we went to just look around but then I saw a headband with bunny ears on it and as sister Hare I HAD to get it.
that night we got transfer news! I feel bad for Ryan, our upstairs neighbor... who probably heard me FREAKING OUT when I got the news that I'd be PINK WASHING GREENFIELD?!?! Cleveland really was a one and done for me and apparently President really trusts me to take over elders areas...

WEDNESDAY
spent a good chuck of the day packing... we also went to a revolving sushi bar just for the mems, we visited Sandy one last time and said bye :(
we had a great lesson with our new friend Scott who said he doesn't have much of a relationship with God because of some trials in his life so we talked about opposition and about how Heavenly Father let's us go through these trials so that we can learn and grow! without sadness we wouldn't know what it's like to be happy!

THURSDAY
TRANSFER DAY we spent most the day driving to Columbus.. Sister Fluckiger had to be there early cause she was training. i guessed which new missionary was gonna be her trainee and I TOTALLY called it. she's a fellow southern Utah girl, from st george! then my new companion and I packed our car up and drove to greenfield! we spent the first few hours cleaning... ๐Ÿงผ supposedly there hasn't been sisters in this area for 6 years. the apartment was nasty. the branch president's wife was so nice and just showed up with her two daughters to help us deep clean before we unpacked!
the elders mentioned that our utility closet smelled like something died so I went and opened it and realized that the smell wasn't death it was propane... ๐Ÿคฆ‍♀️ so we currently don't have heat. ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿ˜‚
check out my google photos for vlogs

FRIDAY
we spent quite a bit of the day texting our friends and stopping by members! we got a call that morning and it was a member of the branch presidency asking if we could talk in church... that following Sunday... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

SATURDAY
did lots of stop bys and some knocking. got to know some more members and set up some lessons with our friends! I may or may not have stayed up till midnight writing my talk...

SUNDAY
we went to church and since its branch we got to talk to almost everyone who walked in. everyone was so excited to have sisters! we each talked about the priesthood, how it is used in the home and how it's used by women in the church. Sunday school was powerful and we talked more about the priesthood! we had a linger longer afterwards which was nice to get to know more members! everyone's so nice. we had a few good lessons and decided to stop by a random grey dot (which means someone that's been taught in the past) and they ended up being super nice and we talked for quite awhile. we talked even MORE about the priesthood!

that brings me to my spiritual thought!
how wonderful is it that we have the power and authority of God restored on the earth? we're given His power so that we can perform ordinances and make covenants! those things are so important for our exaltation! think about all the blessings you've received because of the priesthood!
I'm so grateful for the priesthood and for the blessings of healing, comfort and guidance I've received in my life. I'm grateful for my dad who always strives to be worthy of holding the priesthood so that he can preside in our family! I'm grateful that we have that authority available to us so I was able to make covenants at baptism and in the temple! I'm so grateful that by that power and authority I was able to be set apart as a full-time missionary for Jesus Christ!

life is crazy! but it's your turn to tell me about your week! shoot me an email :) I love and miss you all!
stay tuned for more Greenfield adventures
