week 35: brand new whip just hopped in

 oh hey i'm a little later than normal today! it's because my body wanted to sleep in apparently so.. let's see if I can remember the week 



spiritual thought: we talked about the gathering of Israel at zone conference! according to our prophet of God it's the MOST important work! we all need to work together to gather scattered Isreal and guess what! scattered Isreal hangs around gathered Isreal! so go invite your friends and family to Sacrament meeting! love! share! invite! there's people who don't have the joy of the gospel! you don't have to be a full time missionary to share it with them! everyone invite someone to church this weekend! pray and ask God who might need it a little extra right now! then act on those promptings you get. lemme know how it goes :)

NOW I'll tell you about my week!

MONDAY
we played sand volleyball and soccer as a district which was soooo fun! I made a goal 😮⚽️ and for anyone who knows me knows that's a big deal! Michael I hope you're proud of me. we went to raising canes with the sisters and I heard 22 by Taylor Swift! it's been way too long 😂

TUESDAY
we got bible bashed! bestie said I should carry around scripture instead of a history book... isn't the Bible a history book tho??? silly guy. I am carrying scriptures :)
we stopped by a referral and she was busy but a guy outside overheard us talking about Jesus and asked us some questions! we gave him a book of mormon! when we got home the whole entire town was out of electricity so thats fun 😃

WEDNESDAY
stubborn old man frank told us God wouldn't command us to give him money. Jesus gave His life for you frank. and you won't give him 10 percent?? I told him to ask God. he said no. 

THURSDAY
I hit 8 months as a missionary! 🤯
also we got a BRAND NEW CAR! yeah! Her names Luna. she's a blue Subaru. 💙 love her. we had zone conference and it was sooo good! we also invited our friend Lori to be baptized! she's preparing for baptism on June 8th! 

FRIDAY
it was a great day! lemme tell ya! we went down to the bottom of our area where all the hills are! we went to this Amish restaurant and got pretzel buns sandwiches! we also taught our friend kimberly about temples and she was in awe! the spirit was so strong. the Snavely's fed us dinner and lil beckett wanted to share a chair with me so I scooted over and he climbed on up right next to me. I love him.

SATURDAY
it rained ALL. DAY. LONG. i've never seen so much water in my life. we met monica! she sent in a referral but turns out she grew up in the church and for the past 25 years she's been going to a Baptist church with her husband's family. she had no idea we had a church building close and she's excited to start coming back! she said she feels like her testimony has been renewed! 

SUNDAY
it was fast and testimony meeting! both sister nelson and I bore our testimonies. I'm a bawl baby. I cried the whole time. then I cried even harder during the closing hymn. the spirit really got to me 😅 we stopped by our friend taylor and she introduced us to her neighbor carley! when we told her about Christ's love for us she was tearing up! so sweet. that night we had a devotional with president Joe Jackson for Kirtland Zone conference preparation. go study about what happened in kirtland because it's a VERY special place and I get to serve here! the Lord loves "The Ohio" 

it's been another great week! what did y'all do this week? I'd love an update :) love and miss you all

  hey fam, I know I know, the title of my email doesn't make sense cause we JUST got a new car like 3 weeks ago... surprise! we got a new car again! it's been a good week :)  can I ask a favor? can y'all pray for my friends?
