week 41: call me a fire hydrant 🐶

good morning! time flies when you're having fun. and I am! it's been a little over a week with my new comp sister reeves and I'm loving it! we're seriously the same person. but anyways let's get onto the week

prayer list:
Taylor and Dylan
Carley
Jesse
Brandon
Chuck
Chesney

spiritual thought: in honor of father's day I've been thinking about our Heavenly Father! He loves us each so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son to earth. His perfectly obedient, perfectly loving, perfectly kind, perfect son. to atone for our sins. to make it possible for us to make it home to Him.
He loves us so much that He made this perfect plan for us and gave us the choice! He gives us the choice every day to choose Him. I'm so grateful for that. I'm so grateful for Him. that's all.

my favorite primary song is A Child's Prayer. go listen to it :)

MONDAY
we had a district activity at a thrift store and I found the cutest lil shirt! and also a Taylor Swift CD but don't worry cause I don't have a CD player. we got tropical smoothie with the sisters and then had dinner with the Waltz's! they're actually my favorite
we got an email saying that our companionship was selected to be in a choir of 16 missionaries to sing the national anthem at a clippers game in Columbus next month! I'm singing alto!

TUESDAY
holy smokes we had a lesson with a member, bret, who's been trying to grow his faith. brother mcmurdie always comes with us. but Bret's dog litchrally PEED on me?! I was sitting on the couch and all the sudden I felt something warm and wet on my back. AH NAH! I whispered to my comp "he peed on me" and we just busted up laughing. we couldn't contain ourselves. I went home and showered after that.
we had dinner with the Thompson's and I just love Annmarie and Abby! they remind me of my sisters and I.

WEDNESDAY
we stopped by a precious member named sandy. she's literally the sweetest. she has a cat named gibby. I think cats can sense that I'm allergic cause they love to be right up against me lol
we had lunch with the Snavely's! always love hanging with my best friend Beckett. we also had a lesson with Mazzie and her dad Don and visited Frank and his granddaughters puppy, Big Head.

THURSDAY
district council and interviews! I actually love having interviews with President and sister Brockbank! it's so fun to talk to them and get to know them more! we met two of our referrals, Mary and Geneva! good conversations with both of them! we got a follow up lesson with Mary, and Geneva is gonna come to church next week! sister Pitzer and Cody had us over for dinner and they made Cincinnati chili. Will someone look that up for me? idk what it was tbh. it tasted good??

FRIDAY
nothing too significant happened other than our lesson with jesse! we talked about Jesus Christ's atonement and love for us!

SATURDAY
fun fact about the cicadas in Greenfield right now: they only come out once every 17 years and they are swarming EVERYTHING right now. they keep landing on me and I've genuinely gained an irrational fear I think. they're harmless but they're big and ugly and I don't like when they touch me. while knocking we found a really precious girl named Chesney! we told her about the Book of Mormon and she wants to learn more!

SUNDAY
happy father's day to all the dads out there! and shoutout to the best dad a girl could ever ask for! i love you!
at church my stomach was growling at me really loud. it was mega embarrassing. we slipped out during Sunday school for a pretzel break cause it was getting a little obnoxious lol
we joined our friend Brandon at a non denomiational church. it was better than catholic.. but still very weird.

it's been a pretty good week but now I wanna hear about yours! I miss and love you all!
